About Us

Your hosts Roger and Jacqui Jacques welcome you to the seaview hotel.

They have run the seaview for over ten years, and have been running pub's for over twenty years. Here you will find warm hospitality with comfortable surroundings, large garden and patio area, outdoor heated smoking area and car park.

The seaview was built 1825. There are no presently known old photos of the seaview but it was the rear wing of the present hotel. Built by JW Heasman and occupied by John G Heasman who died in 1850 aged 99.

Hannah Downer later lived there with Mr Baker the village schoolmaster as her lodger. At some point it came into ownership of a Mr Warren. In 1934 Mr Frank Page set up the King of Clubs company creating the club and hotel.
